Smoking: Smoking has been a part of my life for 23 years. Smoking is a friend I can turn to in a crisis, a reward for a job well done, an accoutrement to morning coffee, a digestive aid after a good meal. Smoking is as big a part of my life as a close friend.

My name is Ian, I am a 33 year old male living in the New York City area. I had my first cigarette when I was a mere 10 years old while on a vacation with my family. My first purchase was the same year from a cigarette machine, it was a $1.25 pack of Camel non-filters. By the time I was 12 I was a pack a day smoker.

Today I smoke around two packs a day, sometimes more.

4. Money: Times are tuff, smokes are very expensive in my area, about $8 a pack, if I can substitute Green Smoke for regular cigarettes 100% of the time I will save about $3,650 a year!

This site will document my experience with the Green Smoke alternative to cigarettes. While Green Smoke states that it “is not a medical devise and makes no claims to help a person quit smoking” I have a feeling it may do just that for me. I plan to document everything I can about the experience in the hopes that if it works for me, it may be able to help others.
